Create your digital business card
Setting up Innovnet takes five steps: activate your account, build your live profile, test your NFC card, connect your CRM, and share at your next meeting.
How do I make a digital business card?
Pick a platform, add your contact details and a photo, add links, choose NFC, a QR code, or a wallet pass, then test on iPhone and Android.
- Pick a platform. Choose where the profile or the link will live.
- Add your contact details and a photo: name, phone, email, title, and company.
- Add links, such as your website, social profiles, and a booking page.
- Choose how to share: NFC, a QR code, or a wallet pass.
- Test on an iPhone and an Android phone before you rely on it in a meeting.
1. Activate your account
- Open the invite email from your admin or Innovnet onboarding sequence.
- Create a secure password and complete your basic account details.
- Sign in to the dashboard and confirm you can see your workspace or team.
If you ordered cards yourself, use the activation link in your order confirmation. Need help getting access? Contact support.
2. Build your live digital profile
Your NFC card points to a live profile — not static printed text. Update it anytime without reprinting.
- Add your name, title, company, and a clear professional photo.
- Include primary contact options: email, phone, calendar booking, LinkedIn, and website.
- Write one short headline so recipients know what you do in a glance.
- Add a single primary call to action (book a meeting, request a quote, or save contact).
3. Link and test your NFC card
- In the dashboard, assign your physical card to your profile (or confirm the pre-linked assignment).
- Enable NFC on a test phone (iPhone 7+ on iOS 13+, or most modern Android devices).
- Tap the card near the top of an iPhone, or the NFC area on Android.
- Confirm your profile opens in the browser in a few seconds — no app required for the recipient.
For compatibility details, see how NFC technology works or the NFC networking glossary.
4. Connect CRM and review analytics
- Connect Salesforce, HubSpot, or another supported integration from the integrations settings.
- Choose where new contacts and tap events should sync.
- Open analytics to verify test taps are recorded so you can measure real networking activity.
Explore available connectors on the integrations page.
5. Share at your next meeting
You are ready for live use. At events, demos, and client meetings:
- Tap to share instead of handing over paper that gets lost.
- Follow up the same day from the dashboard or your CRM.
- Update links or messaging anytime — existing cards keep working.
